Adelaide has a well-established swimming pool market driven by the city's hot Mediterranean summers. All residential pools in SA must comply with mandatory pool fencing requirements under the Building Regulations 2011 and be registered with Council.

Finding a Licensed Adelaide Pool Builder
CBS SA-licensed Adelaide pool builders are required to carry public liability and building indemnity insurance. Adelaide's Mediterranean climate means pools are heavily used from November to March, Adelaide's summers regularly exceed 35°C, making a pool highly valuable for summer cooling. Adelaide's blue-stone and limestone substrate in some inner suburbs can require additional rock-breaking excavation and increases pool installation costs. Adelaide Hills pool installations involve challenging access and cooler temperatures that reduce the swimming season, pool heating is particularly valuable for Adelaide Hills pool owners.
